Mademoiselle Desserts completed its acquisition of Galana, a Belgian producer of frozen bakery and ice cream products, on June 30. Mademoiselle Desserts now takes over the full bakery and ice cream operations in Waregem, Belgium, including the Beldessert (bakery) and Pagotini (ice cream) brands, Eubelius details. Eubelius assisted Mademoiselle Desserts with all corporate aspects of the transaction.

Four products developed by Mademoiselle Desserts were recently awarded medals at the Free From Food Awards. The Vegan Mango Cheesecake earned Bronze and the Vegan Treacle Tart was commended. From its daughter company The Handmade Cake Company Limited, the Gluten Free Chocolate Brownie was awarded Silver and Gluten Free Lemon Drizzle Slice commended.
