Ireland’s Valeo Foods Group completed the acquisition of Dal Colle, an established producer of high-quality bakery products in Italy. Dal Colle produces a range of bakery products, sweet treats and snacks for every occasion including pandori, panettoni and croissants.
Bridor is investing in a new manufacturing facility in Greater Salt Lake City, Utah. The Western US plant will be Bridor’s fifth in North America, in addition to those in New Jersey, Connecticut and two in Canada
Mondelez received a EUR 337.5 million fine from EU antitrust regulators for impeding cross-border trade of chocolate, biscuits and coffee products between EU countries. The Commission found that Mondelez engaged in anti-competitive deals and abused its position of market dominance in breach of EU antitrust laws.
