Zeelandia announced that Peter van Wouwe was appointed as CFO of Royal Zeelandia Group, a role he assumed on June 19, 2023. He brings on board extensive financial experience, of which the last 22 years in the food business. Van Wouwe was previously the CFO of Lamb Weston/Meijer, a role he held for over nine years.

He shared the news with the following comment: “After nine great years at Lamb Weston EMEA, I am happy to announce that I have started in my new role of CFO at Royal Zeelandia Group. Royal Zeelandia is a leading company in the global bakery ingredients business, inspiring customers every day with inventive ways to create bakery success. Headquartered in Zierikzee, The Netherlands it has operations in 30 countries and sales in more than 100 countries with approximately 3,200 dedicated employees worldwide. I am excited to explore the bakery world and together with a great team find the best ways to serve our customers!”

He succeeds Lodewijk Lockefeer, who will take on a new challenge as the CFO of CoreDux. “We thank Lodewijk for his valuable contributions to the growth of Zeelandia over the past four years,” Zeelandia said in a recent post.
