After almost three years of serving as the CEO of Royal Zeelandia Group b.v., Irénke Meekma is stepping down from the role, citing personal reasons for her departure. She has spearheaded the company’s leadership during a difficult period, marked by multiple disruptions, from the COVID-19 pandemic to the war in Ukraine. She is succeeded by Frans van Luijk, formerly managing director of the Brazilian branch, Emulzint Ltda.

“We have respectfully received Irénke’s decision to leave Zeelandia. The Supervisory Board would like to express its thanks to Irénke,” Bert Jansen said in an announcement, on behalf of the Supervisory Board.
