Nestle will market a new, USD 5 line of frozen pizzas and protein-enriched pastas in the United States, specifically for people taking weight loss medication such as Wegovy or Ozempic, Reuters reports. They will be sold under a new brand, Vital Pursuit, and are intended to meet the needs of people taking weight-loss medicine with added protein, iron and calcium.

Nestle aims to have the products in supermarkets in October. The company started working on products that are complementary to taking weight-loss medicine last year. At the time, Nestle CEO Mark Schneider was quoted saying that Nestle was working on “companion products” that might serve to limit the “loss of lean muscle mass” in people taking the diet pills.
