The French manufacturer of frozen baked goods proposes festive sophistication with its holiday-themed creation, a mulled wine bread with chestnuts. The bread is sold exclusively to the catering and hotel industry is part of the  ‘Une Recette Lenôtre’ premium product range.

“The versatile bread combines Christmas flavors with the artisanal perfection that has been the hallmark of the collaboration between Bridor and Maison Lenôtre for over 25 years,” Bridor says. The entire ‘Une Recette Lenôtre Professionnels’ range is created in a long-standing partnership, which started in 1997.

“These special bread recipes stand for the highest quality and are characterized by intense flavors and creative recipes. The mulled wine bread sets new standards here: the finest red wine, generous pieces of chestnut and a hint of orange puree ensure a slightly crispy texture, while the typical mulled wine spices – cinnamon, ginger and citrus peel – lend an incomparable, wintery taste,” Bridor reveals. Inspired by the tradition of combining bread and wine, mulled wine bread pays tribute to an ancient festive specialty that is particularly popular in France and Germany.

The mulled wine bread with chestnut, ideal for the Christmas and New Year season, can be cut perfectly into thin slices thanks to its narrow, elongated shape. The bread is also suitable for vegetarian and vegan diets.

Bridor explains that the pre-baked and frozen 130 g loaf is easy to process and always offers optimum freshness for professional use.

With 3,500 employees in over 100 countries and nine production sites worldwide, Bridor delivers high-quality bread and bakery solutions that cover every eating occasion. Bridor has been based in Brittany since 1988 and is part of Louis Le Duff’s family business. The Le Duff Group is active worldwide in the bakery and café bakery sectors.
