AAK’s 2021 Sustainability Report was named the best in the world in the category of plant-based oils, winning the 2022 Hallbars Award.

Over 1,500 reports from 94 countries participated in the competition. The reports are screened for their content, clear writing, easy readership and quality production. “We highly appreciate this award as we see it as a recognition of the teamwork behind the report and that we are on the right path when communicating our impact as a company,” said Anna Frey-Wulff, Global Sustainability Manager at AAK, in a LinkedIn post.

Hallbars is an international organization based in Sweden, bringing together talent from Europe and Asia, focusing on the promotion and readership of sustainability reports, to help the United Nations’ sustainable development goals to reach beyond the circle of each business sector into society in general.

Hallbars has been active since 2017, focusing on the food and drink sector.
