Swiss companies Cetravac and bakeXperts will develop solutions together starting this year, under the leadership of bakeXperts – the manufacturer of the UDO vacuum shop oven. Product development and service remain independent staff departments in both companies. For both companies, the change will result in new structures and management consolidation. Stefan Wirtheim took over the management of bakeXperts and is in charge of the joint production, starting from January 1. Veronika Grebner will take over the management of Cetravac AG going forward.

The closer collaboration between the companies founded by Adolf Cermak will help to strengthen their purchasing power and speed up production, for faster deliveries.

In addition, “The growing success of the UDO vacuum shop oven developed by bakeXperts requires an expansion of our production. The UDO revolutionizes baking in the shop technically and economically. It simplifies the work processes for the sales staff on-site and, at the same time, in combination with vacuum conditioning, enables the switch to largely daily production. Each of us knows that the shortage of staff is threatening the existence of bakeries not only today but in the long term. Daily working hours are an important argument. On top of that, the UDO massively reduces energy consumption and the return rate compared to conventional in-store ovens,” says Adolf Cermak.
