Royal DSM will introduce its latest developments at this year’s Food ingredients Europe (FiE), held December 6-8, 2022, in Paris. DSM will showcase solutions that will include its next-generation taste, texture, health and sustainability ingredients for the bakery and confectionery industries. Plant proteins, concepts with immunity and energy claims, and breakthroughs in process efficiencies will take center stage on DSM’s stand (4.A10).

Among the new launches, DSM will introduce Panamore® Xtense, a label-friendly lipase and a more sustainable alternative to the common emulsifier, DATEM. The new solution helps bread producers maintain dough stability and improve volume and shape in more challenging applications like wholewheat, frozen dough and while using flours or varying quality, DSM explains

DSM will also be showcasing a range of new concepts designed to meet consumer demand for functional food and drinks that support specific health areas and are tasty. In broader nutrition and weight management categories, DSM will present a breakfast cookie that aids digestion while providing an energy boost and containing reduced acrylamide levels, among other concepts. In light of challenges surrounding plant-based meat alternatives, DSM will be showcasing new additions to its plant-based portfolio to help producers improve the taste, texture, appearance and nutrition in a wide range of applications including dairy products.
