Mondelēz Global announced today a voluntary recall of two varieties of belVita Breakfast Sandwich products, manufactured in the US and sold nationwide, due to the possibility that the products may contain undeclared peanuts from cross-contact on a single manufacturing line. No other belVita products, Mondelēz products, or markets outside the US are affected by this recall.

American belting specialist Intralox relocated its European headquarters to a larger facility in Schiphol, Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The new HQ is also an expanded facility with more assembly and warehouse space, in response to growing market demand, allowing Intralox to double its modular plastic assembly facility and triple warehouse space, the company explained in an announcement.
In light of recent backlash from Sweden and Norway, Mondelez issued a statement saying it is further reducing its activities in Russia. In addition to scaling down operations, Mondelez now says it plans to have its Russia business as a stand-alone operation by the end of the year.
