With approximately 140,000 industry visitors from 200 countries and around 7,900 exhibitors from 118 countries, Anuga 2023 exceeded all forecasts. A central theme was sustainability and responsible resource management. Under the motto “Sustainable Growth,” innovative solutions and technologies were discussed, ranging from optimizing supply chains to fair food production.
Anuga debuts two trade events this year, under the patronage of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), to highlight key challenges such as combatting hunger and the transformation of the food supply chains, and discuss possible solutions. The events add to Anuga’s key theme in October, ‘Sustainable Growth’.
Anuga announced the key theme of the 2023 edition will be ‘ Sustainable Growth’, recognized as a central theme in the food industry, which also takes into account environmental and climate aspects.
The application phase for Anuga’s 2023 edition is underway. The trade show is set to take place from October 7 to 11, 2023.
