EU antitrust regulators are deciding if the Bunge-Vitera merger meets approval conditions by July 18. The companies announced the intention to merge last year, following a similar step taken by its competitors ADM and Cargill. If approved, the new agricultural entity will be worth USD 34 billion, Reuters reports.
The European Commission approved, under the EU Merger Regulation, the proposed merger between Novozymes A/S and Christian Hansen A/S. The approval is conditional upon full compliance with the commitments offered by the parties.
DSM and Firmenich announced they agreed to merge. The partnership, to be called DSM-Firmenich, will work on innovation in nutrition, well-being and beauty.
