Baker & Baker launches heart-shaped donut

Baker & Baker launched a heart-shaped donut in the UK, ahead of Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day celebrations. The soft donut base is topped with pink, strawberry-flavored icing and white sugar strand. It contains no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives, and is suitable for vegans.

“Our recent cost-of-living research indicated it can no longer be business as usual for bakeries, food service operators and retailers if they want to remain competitive”, comments Helen Sinclair, UK marketing manager at Baker & Baker.

The thaw-and-serve heart doughnut has a three-day shelf life.
