French specialist EUROGERM celebrated the official opening of its new bio-fermentation plant on October 10. It is located in the Dijon-Bourgogne ecopark in Saint-Apollinaire, France.

EUROGERM builds French sourdough factory
EUROGERM started construction work for its new sourdough bio-fermentation plant in France. The plant represents an investment of EUR 21 million.
Lesaffre opens Baking Center in Jordan
Lesaffre inaugurated its first Baking Center in Jordan, at the end of November 2022. This is also the company’s 50th Baking Center. The first one opened its doors in 1974.
Lesaffre expands presence in Australia
Lesaffre Australia Pacific opened two new facilities in mid-November: a Molasses Extracts Plant (MEP) on its production site in Melbourne and a training showroom for breadmaking at its Baking Center™ in Mortlake (Sydney).

Lesaffre announced the acquisition of Recombia Biosciences, a biotechnology company based in the San Francisco Bay Area, based on technology licensed from Stanford University.
EUROGERM USA merges with KB INGREDIENTS
EUROGERM announced its US company merged with KB INGREDIENTS – a specialist in the manufacture, packaging and distribution of food ingredients – and is now called EUROGERM KB LLC.
Lesaffre Baking Center No. 44
The Lesaffre yeast group has established a Baking Center in the Vienna-Neudorf industrial zone on the southern outskirts of the Austrian capital city.
