The National Confederation of French Bakery Pastry (La Confédération Nationale de la Boulangerie Pâtisserie Française – CNBPF) created a new award – ‘My bakery, committed to sustainable development’, to highlight notable commitments to sustainable development in the industry. Four bakeries were rewarded for their actions and commitments in terms of sustainable development and for their ability to meet the 17 Sustainable Development Goals:
Starting on January 1, 2024, Anton Paar took over the global sales and service network of Brabender, following the August 2023 acquisition. Founded in 1922 in Graz (Austria), Anton Paar specializes in laboratory and process measurement technology with 37 global sales and service centers, and more than 650 certified technicians spanning over 110 countries.
On January 1, Chip Czulada started his new role as the president of Reading Bakery Systems. He succeeds Joe Zaleski at the helm of RBS.
Paris Baguette cafés are preparing a festive holiday menu highlighting 12 seasonal specialty cakes including a traditional Bûche de Noël, Enchanted Red Velvet Cake, Gnome for the Holidays Blueberry Chiffon Cake and more. The limited-edition seasonal bakery treats are handcrafted on-site at each café by Paris Baguette’s experts. They are available throughout the US until January 4.
AIBI announced that registrations for its upcoming Congress can be made starting January 1. The next biennial gathering will be held in Hamburg, at the Grand Elysee Hotel, from May 22 to 24.
