MULTIVAC Group acquired an 80% majority stake in Italianpack S.p.A., a manufacturer of automatic and semi-automatic packaging machines headquartered in Como, Italy. Jean-Manuel Lévêque is the new AIBI President
At the 38th AIBI Congress, Jean-Manuel Lévêque was appointed as the association’s new president, as the two-year mandate of the previous leader, Georg Heberer (Germany) came to an end. Lévêque returns to the leadership of AIBI – he was previously its President from 2015 to 2017.

The fifth installment of the Austrian Bakery Days took place on April 20 and 21, 2024, held at and around the backaldrin headquarters.
