Swiss companies Cetravac and bakeXperts will develop solutions together starting this year, under the leadership of bakeXperts – the manufacturer of the UDO vacuum shop oven.
Gerhard Schubert will start the 2024 exhibition year with ProSweets Cologne. From January 28 to 31, the machine manufacturer will highlight the TLM Comfort Feeder, an entirely new solution for feeding carton blanks designed for efficiency and prioritizing resource-saving.
At this year’s iba, packaging machine manufacturer Schubert will have its own stand for the first time, in Hall C2 – 420, where it will highlight flexible, efficient and environmentally friendly packaging solutions aimed at the bakery sector.
Gerhard Schubert, the founder and shareholder of packaging machine manufacturer Schubert, passed away in Crailsheim on July 4, 2023 at the age of 84.
The UDO can bake frozen, ambient-stored raw dough, or parbaked products such as rolls, baguettes and even larger loaves and cool them to perfect-to-eat level in less than 5-10 minutes. It does so while achieving perfectly even heating and retaining all product characteristics, consistently.
To optimize in-store baking efficiency, the UDO baking technology is one to watch. It stands for Univac Double-bake Oven and is powered by Cetravac AG’s patented innovation. Developed under the bakeXperts brand, the UDO opens the door to a new world of baking in-store.
Some of the highlights at Schubert’s stand include cobots for the rapid feeding of different packaging components on a line and an entirely new, efficient, resource-saving feeding system for carton blanks.
Gerhard Schubert GmbH will showcase its automated packaging solutions at CFIA Rennes, between March 14 and 16. A new Cobot will be previewed, designed to automate feeding products to machines.
Schubert aims to expand and relaunch its training services, with the inauguration of its training center in Crailsheim, Germany.
Schubert will be exhibiting at Gulfood Manufacturing for the second time, to promote its sustainable packaging solutions for the food and confectionery sector.
Schubert announced it purchased 7.36 acres of land to expand its North American headquarters in Charlotte, NC.
Construction work started on Schubert’s largest facility investment to date at EUR 38 million: a new final assembly hall with an office wing will be completed by June 2023, according to the company.
