57,000 trade visitors attend iba 2023
Trade visitors welcome iba’s comeback. This October, 1,073 exhibitors from 46 countries showcased their latest developments in 10 halls, for 57,000 visitors from 150 countries attending the show. The fair in Munich saw full aisles for an anticipated industry reunion. By comparison, more than 77,000 trade visitors from around 170 countries came to iba in 2018. In total, over 1,300 companies exhibited 5 years ago.
Digitalization tools take center stage at iba

New CEO for Syntegon Group: Torsten Türling
Torsten Türling will be the new CEO of Syntegon Group from November 1, 2023, the packaging technology company announced. The current CEO, Dr. Michael Grosse, resigns as of October 31, after three years in this role.
Syntegon wins fourth German Packaging Award
Syntegon won the German Packaging Prize in the ‘packaging machines’ category, from the German Packaging Institute (Deutsches Verpackungsinstitut e.V.). Its IDH handling system incorporates innovative picker technology, which enables manufacturers to considerably reduce the space required from the infeed belt to the packaging machine
