Automated production lines are the solution to optimizing production and optimally allocating resources, including a critical one: the people on the production floor. Royal Smilde is known for its rich diversity of sweet and savory baked creations. Either sold under its own labels, through collaborations, or as private labels, the products made by the Dutch bakery are in growing demand worldwide. A very flexible production line helped them increase production volumes, built by AMF Bakery Systems (Tromp). Particular care was given to automating apple turnover production, namely – dough folding into a triangle.
AT ProSweets, IPCO will showcase the IPCO Rotoform HP rotary drop depositor for chocolate chip production and an advanced piston depositor. The Rotoform HP (High Performance) is the latest model in this series and was specifically designed for chocolate processing. The dosing unit will be showcased with live demonstrations at the trade show in Cologne (Hall 10.1, Stand G080).
As preparations are in full swing for interpack 2023, exhibitors share solutions they are focusing on, information about new technologies that bakers can see at the show, as well as their views on the trade show and the industry.
AMF Bakery Systems will launch a new sauce depositor/applicator at interpack in May, the AMF Tromp Powershot. It can be used for pizza and flatbread production, to deposit materials such as tomato sauce, white sauces, or oils.
Koenig is introducing its new I-Rex Compact Easy Clean (EC) machine at the trade show. It incorporates the I-Rex Compact EC Divider and Rounder.
