Lesaffre expanded its existing Baking Center™ in Shanghai with new, state-of-the-art industrial production lines, aimed at providing technical support and solutions to industrial bakers in the Chinese market.
The first Lesaffre Baking Center™ was opened 50 years ago, as a place where its specialists could not only put themselves in their customers’ shoes to understand their experiences – from baker to baker, but also roll up their sleeves and bake together to find product and process improvements.
Lesaffre officially opened a new plant in Indonesia dedicated to the production of compressed and dry yeast, on February 29. From this new plant, built on a 9.8 ha land in Malang Regency, East Java, Lesaffre will supply baking yeast in Indonesia and ASEAN countries.
