Koenig Group introduced a new fully automated machine for dough dividing and rounding in March 2024: the Industrie Rex V AW EC. The system has a dough throughput of 6.5 tons per hour – meaning an hourly output of up to 50,400 pieces per hour in 14-row operation, and features Koenig’s ‘Easy Clean’ design.
Sveba Dahlen announced the launch of its Glimek Bread Line for industrial production, the Glimek BL600, built with hygienic materials, such as stainless steel and blue clean line mats. The line will be officially introduced with demonstration runs at iba, in Munch.
In October, MECATHERM will launch at iba new solutions including its new M-VT vertical oven for bakery, pastry and patisserie products, its new M-RT molder designed for crusty breads, as well as solutions that help optimize energy consumption for production lines. Hygiene priorities ruled the drawing board for new equipment revisions at SOLLICH. The Thermo-Flow® cooling tunnel debuts a wheel-out heat exchanger, to allow the operator to clean it easily and thoroughly. Efficient cleaning is an improved feature we will find on numerous SOLLICH machines this year, most of which are to be unveiled at interpack.
Reading Bakery Systems (RBS) designed a new 18-nozzle rotating die for increased throughput capacity. Depending on the size of the finished snack product, it increases throughput capacity by up to 33% on the same size production line.
